Application That’s Easy!

STEP 2

Apply HEMOBLAST™ Bellows

Apply HEMOBLAST™ Bellows to the bleeding site by compressing the bellows. Enough implant material (multiple layers, if needed) should be applied to cover the entire source of bleeding.

Immediately apply wound-appropriate pressure using a wet laparotomy pad. Hold for approximately 3 minutes. Gently lift the laparotomy pad and inspect the area.

STEP 4

Irrigate Excess

Once hemostasis is achieved, excess powder should be removed from the site of application by irrigation and aspiration.

If Hemostasis has not been achieved, repeat steps 1-3 or use an alternative method of hemostasis treatment.
